As far as the actual race gameplay is concerned, the goal of the developers is to offer up enough options to ensure that the average racing game fan can jump right into it while also giving the diehard Formula One fan all of the simulation features that he'd expect. We can't really say yet if this has been done, but the game is definitely packed with customizable features and gameplay options. For one, there are four camera angles -- font of car, behind car, behind-driver, and cockpit (which isn't available in Sony's Formula One 2001) -- more interactive parts on the vehicles, and a greater importance placed on things like pitting strategy.
