Hi, I bought my cutter late October 2012. I was on Windows 8 64bit at the time. I installed the windows 7 drivers without a big problem and my cutter worked (even though I did know what I was doing with it but that's another story).

In mid November I had a problem with the cutter, which I though had developed a fault. The LCD display was flashing on and off (well the bottom line where is says local etc.) It was fine when unplugged from the USB port on the PC. The test cut worked too. So I un-installed the driver and re-installed it and nothing I could do worked. So at the time I was having problems with windows any way so I rolled back my windows using an backup image (which I had created at the beginning of November and the cutter and the cutter was working fine). The cutter worked once again and windows 8 was stable once again.

So I thought it may have been a driver update or something that caused it. Any way it's done it again. The LCD on the cutter is flashing once again, but only when connected to the PC and the PC has booted, which again leads me to believe it's a driver issue. Before you say anything I know that the driver does not say it supports windows 8. But I'm no noob when it comes to using PC's having quite a few years under my belt, and I remember windows 3.1 The Windows 7 driver works fine in Windows 8. The driver i was using is CDM 2.06.00 WHQL Certified and it was working fine in windows 8, and the cutter has been working fine upto this point. I've done quite a few jobs with it.
